The community having their say may be more important now more than ever, and the public is getting the chance to attend an Osoyoos council meeting for the first time since pandemic safety measures were put into effect.
The Town of Osoyoos is holding a Special Open Meeting (AGM) on Monday, Aug. 17, 2020 at 1 p.m. at the Sonora Community Centre Gymnasium located at 8505 68 Ave.
Council will consider the town’s annual report and welcomes submissions and inquiries from the public at the meeting related to the report. Copies of the annual report are available at the town office, or click here to view the report online.
The regular open meeting of council scheduled for Monday, Aug. 17, will begin immediately following the annual general meeting.
