Osoyoos Elks donate $3,000 for U13 hockey team to get to Trail

The Osoyoos Elks Lodge #436 has donated $3,000 to help the Osoyoos U13 Rep Team cover some of the costs of going to the provincial hockey tournament in Trail this coming week.

The South Okanagan Minor Hockey Association (SOMHA) is well-represented at the hockey provincials this coming weekend with U13, U15 and U18 all securing a place at the coveted provincial championship.

A fundraiser open to all to help support the U13 team and coaches and volunteers in their travel to Trail will be taking place at the Sage Pub in Osoyoos on March 12 at 5-9 p.m. An open auction, raffle and 50/50 draw will also be featured.
