A vehicle fire in the industrial park last night was not deliberately set, according to the owner of Okanagan Storage on Maple Avenue.

The owner told the Chronicle that a client was accessing one of his storage containers when his vehicle, a suburban, caught fire for unknown reasons.

Oliver Fire Department spokesman Rob Graham said the vehicle was fully engulfed in flames when they arrived shortly after 10 pm. There was so much damage to the vehicle that fire officials could not determine the origin or the cause.

Nobody was injured during the blaze that was extinguished by water and foam.
