Prolific offender Ronald Teneycke is facing numerous charges stemming from recent incidents in Oliver.

The man appeared in Penticton court on Wednesday via video conference from Kamloops Regional Correctional Centre, where he is currently being held.

Charges include being unlawfully at large, breaching court orders, robbery, using a restricted weapon, aggravated assault, discharging a firearm with intent to harm, and fleeing from police.

The robbery charge stems from an incident at Eastside Grocery on July 16.

Teneycke is also charged in relation to a July 22 incident where an Oliver man was shot on Mount Baldy Forest Service Road. The victim (Wayne Belleville) is recovering from his injuries.

The manhunt for Teneycke came to an end in Cawston on July 23 when police apprehended the offender in an orchard.

His next court appearance is scheduled for August 26.
