Oliver and Willowbrook fire departments are battling a grass fire just off Secrest Hill Road near Pampass Grass Way this afternoon.
Local fire crews and forestry crews quickly responded to the blaze that started at approximately 3:15 p.m. The blaze apparently began in dry grass and quickly spread to trees and up a hillside. The cause was undetermined.
It is not known if the fire is contained or is still spreading. There are a couple of homes in the area, but non were threatened at the time.
