Lack of staff is the reason behind another closure of Oliver hospital’s emergency department tonight until Christmas morning.
Interior Health reports the department will be closed from 6 p.m Dec. 24 to 8 a.m Dec. 25. All other inpatient services will continue as normal.
People seeking emergency services are encouraged to attend Penticton Regional Hospital. For health issues that are life threatening, people are urged to call 911.
