The previous sales centre and show home for Regal Ridge subdivision on Anarchist mountain in Area A has passed third reading to formalize the single detached home by amending the Official Community Plan (OCP) and zoning bylaws from commercial to small holdings.
The Regional District of the Okanagan-Similkameen (RDOS) held a public hearing on Feb. 16 for the proposed amendments to the property at 150 Peregrine Court. The application specifies “we would like to change the zoning to SH3 to allow the existing home to be used as primary residence.”
The property’s OCP was commercial, and zoning was general commercial, with a parcel size of one hectare. The property contains a single detached dwelling that was previously developed as a sales centre and show home for the Regal Ridge development.
The intention was to amend the OCP from commercial to small holdings with the purpose of formalizing the existing single detached dwelling for residential use. The proposed zoning amendment is to change zoning from general commercial to small holdings three (SH3).
At the Feb. 16 public hearing there was no one that wished to speak.
Following this on the same day at the Board of Directors meeting the proposal was before the board to pass third reading. The motion was carried with no discussion.
