RCMP in Oliver are looking to the public for help returning a stained glass art piece with its owner.

The piece was stolen during a break and enter in August.

Sometime on Aug. 9 while properties in the Oliver area were on evacuation alert due to the Eagle Bluff wildfire, a home on McKinney Road was broken into.

“Several items were taken, but one item in particular the home owner is hoping to have returned – a unique stained glass art piece, multi-coloured, framed in circular shaped wood,” Penticton RCMP Cst. James Grandy said.

Anyone with information on the whereabouts of the item or related to the break and enter is encouraged to contact the Oliver RCMP at 250-498-3442, or call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
