Penticton RCMP are actively involved in the discovery of a woman’s body near Skaha Marina.
Today at 7 a.m., emergency crews responded to a report of a body found on the shoreline near the marina on Skaha Lake.
Emergency crews arrived and confirmed the deceased to be a female in her 50s.
“The cause of death is not suspicious. This is not considered a criminal investigation,” said Cst. James Grandy.
Out of respect for the family, no further information will be released, he noted.
