A contract performance issue has prompted a small ownership group in Osoyoos to part ways with Shell and welcomes a new partnership with Esso at 9121 92 Ave, Osoyoos, near the junction of Highway 97 and Highway 3.

Esso fuelling stations are neatly spread throughout the South end of the province, with stations in Manning Park, Princeton, Summerland, Penticton,  Okanagan Falls, Oliver, and now in Osoyoos.

There is currently an Esso card lock station in Osoyoos on 115th Street, in the industrial park, but the town will welcome its full service Esso station by the end of March.

The station’s ownership group can’t divulge the details that led to the recent out of court settlement with Shell, but stated that they collectively look forward to their new partnership with Esso.

While the station undergoes its transformation, they will remain open and continue to dispense fuel while new signage and new fuel pumps are installed by Esso.

The changeover to Esso is expected to be complete by the end of March.
