Dear Editor:
A Restful Retreat, at the Mariposa Gardens is the name respite should have. A time of relaxation, release of the pressures and stress, hopefully time for the body to heal and gain strength letting go of the anguish and pain.
Smiles, from the staff with the help that is needed, what a gift we are given.
Elva, the hairdresser has been exceptional so patient, kind and understanding. Then there is Leah, the bath lady, like a breath of fresh mountain air – so funny, compassionate and giving. Maggie, the overall boss, has a relationship with her staff so rarely seen, what a treasure.
Mariposa has been a gift to me in so many ways and for that I am so very grateful. My body is feeling better than it has in quite a long while and my mind is learning to accept.
