Dear Editor:
Early one morning last week, we went on our daily walk and we found a spent rifle cartridge.
We walk on Anarchist Mountain with our friends, our families and our pets.
There are many signs posted on the provincial roads within the various sub-divisions that clearly state ‘No Hunting.’
We live here because we love to share our space with the creatures that were here first and we prefer the sounds of nature to the sounds of traffic.
We see the trucks of the hunters parked at the entrance to the Crown lands, where hunters are permitted to get their kill thrill and we sometimes hear the echo of distant gunshot.
I think most of us would prefer that the entire area become a No Hunting zone but sadly this is not the case.
I can only hope that the idiot that hunted out of bounds wasted his shot.
