Dear Editor:
It was with mixed feelings that I read your (Richard McGuire) Nov. 15th Soap Box column.
First of all, you have worked hard, done a great job and surely deserve a break to recharge your batteries. On the other hand, having done such a great job, we are loath to see you go.
We know your passion is photography. It shows in the excellence of your work. It is also true that your writing and reporting has not only been outstanding, but that you have captured the essence of our community.
You have contributed to our community in a very special way and for that, we sincerely thank you.
Remember, Ground Hog Day turned out very well for Bill Murray and I am confident that that will be true for you as well. We know that whatever you decide to do, you will do with great zeal and enthusiasm. Take care.
