A 1965 Ford Mustang convertible collector car was reported stolen recently from a property in the east of Osoyoos.
Kevin Primeau, whose son owns the car, said it was parked on his property at 7710 Main Street between the Holiday Inn and Coast Hotel.
“It’s a collector car and we would regularly get people asking us if it was for sale,” said Primeau. “The plate on it was an Alberta custom plate that said 65 Sally.”
The car is yellow with a black ragtop.
“It was parked for the winter and had a couple flat tires so I’m pretty sure whoever stole it had to tow it away,” said Primeau. “I thought someone might have seen the thieves in action and may be able to provide some information to the police.”
Cpl. Jason Bayda of Osoyoos RCMP confirmed that police are looking for the vehicle.
