A cyclist suffered minor injuries after being struck by a vehicle in downtown Oliver on Thursday.
Witnesses stated that a cyclist was hit by a vehicle at the intersection of Main Street and Fairview Road.
Oliver RCMP Cpl. Christina Tarasoff said the cyclist was travelling across the crosswalk and was not wearing a helmet.
“Police remind cyclists to dismount your bicycle when crossing any crosswalk and to always wear a helmet,” she said.
