The spectacular Osoyoos Canada Day fireworks display over Osoyoos Lake is the grand finale to the town’s July 1 Cherry Fiesta events. It draws thousands of people from near and far.
The pyrotechnics are the work of Frank Zandvliet. Annette Star and Karen Hardy raised funds through generous contributions by local businesses. The fireworks committee that organizes the event is separate from the Osoyoos Festival Society, which runs Cherry Fiesta, but they work in co-operation.
