The Town of Oliver has sold a piece of property for $290,000.
Corporate Officer Diane Vaykovich reported the sale of 5895 Hemlock Street.
The sale excluded a 15.2 metre riparian area that was removed from the parcel as road dedication.
Vaykovich said the Town engaged Royal LePage South Country (Brian Wensley) to list the property at the appraised value of $290,000. It didn’t take long before an offer to purchase was received.
Vaykovich said the money will be deposited into the Town’s land sale reserve fund.
