A fire off Black Sage Road late Thursday night is being deemed suspicious.
Firefighters were called out to wooden (makeshift) barriers on fire at around 11:30 p.m. near Thorp greenhouses and Oliver Twist winery.
Media relations officer Rob Graham said the barriers on fire were on an old road access.
“It appears that they may have been doused in some gasoline and ignited,” he said, adding the RCMP were called in to investigate.
