Southern Okanagan Secondary School has advanced to the semifinals in the BC High School Girls Field Hockey Championships, being held in Oliver.
The host Hornets beat G. W. Graham School from Chilliwack 2-0 in quarterfinal action Friday afternoon.
Kenzie Harrington scored both goals for SOSS in the victory, the second-straight for the Hornets, who opened the championships with a tie and a loss.
SOSS now faces Crofton House, the top-seeded team heading into the event, at 9 a.m. Saturday on the main field at SOSS.
The winner will advance to the championship game, set for 2:30 p.m. Saturday.
