Motorists should expect delays at Gallagher Lake as the siphon rerouting project begins on Highway 97.
Construction crews began working on the highway portion this morning, with north and southbound (alternating) traffic experiencing minor delays.
The irrigation canal is being rerouted around Gallagher Lake, heading south along 97 until it crosses the highway again south of James Way.
Motorists are advised to slow down and obey all traffic personnel.
