A 50-year-old male who was seriously injured in a motor vehicle collision in Oliver on April 3 now faces charges.
Oliver RCMP report that police responded to Road 2 and Yarrow Street at 3:38 p.m. for an accident involving a truck and a dirt bike. Paramedics treated a 50-year-old man who is well known to police.
RCMP Sgt. Don Wrigglesworth said the man was transported to hospital with serious but non-life threatening injuries.
The male is facing charges of driving while prohibited, driving without insurance, and breaching a conditional sentence order by not abiding with a 24-hour house arrest curfew.
