A senior citizen was reportedly struck in downtown Oliver this afternoon while crossing Fairview and Main.
First responders arrived on the scene to see a small group of people huddled around an elderly pedestrian who was sitting on the road. A damaged scooter was nearby.
It is unknown what caused the accident or the extent of injuries. The Times-Chronicle is awaiting details from the RCMP.
