Osoyoos residents out for an early morning stroll on Saturday, Apr. 27 were greeted by an unusual sight at the Osoyoos Marina located at 8215 Spartan Dr with the cab of a semi-truck half submerged in the water down the boat ramp.
While speculation on local Facebook site Osoyoos Connect was that the truck was stolen and dumped, others suggested it was purely an accident in which the brakes were not engaged.
The cab was removed from the water by late morning.
The Times Chronicle has reached out to the RCMP and will update once more information is available.
