The Scareview Halloween dance party will take place at the Oliver Community Centre on Friday, Oct. 31 from 6-8 pm.
Families are encouraged to come down and enjoy live music, karaoke and join in on a family dance party with the “Super Cooligans.”
There will also be a variety of carnival-style game booths for your family to enjoy along with candy bags and free popcorn (while supplies last).
“We have some cool new game booths to add to the old favourites this year,” said event coordinator Katie Eaton.
Children can make the rounds and choose which games to play. “Boo Bucks” will be given out by volunteers at game booths that will be traded in at the CIBC Boo Bank for bags of treats. There will also be a self-serve colouring/craft station.
“Having the live stage entertainment by the Super Cooligans will really add to the overall event,” said Eaton. “But what really makes it special is seeing all the children dressed up and families playing together.”
Eaton said Scareview is a wonderful and safe alternative to trick-or-treating around town.
Admission to Scareview is by donation. Children must be 12 years and under and be accompanied by an adult.
