The hunt for Ronald Teneycke is over – the RCMP have got their man!

“I can confirm that around 10:40 hours today, July 23, Ronald Teneycke was located and is currently in police  custody,” said Cpl. Dave Tyreman. “It is believed that no one was injured during the arrest, but cannot be confirmed at this time,” he added.

It is reported that Teneycke was apprehended near a home in the Keremeos/Cawston area after police blocked off a road there.

It is believed that the fugitive stole a white GMC pickup truck after an Oliver man was wounded in a confrontation on McKinney Road yesterday.

More details to follow when RCMP issue an official press release.

Tyreman thanked the media for their assistance and support during the search for Teneycke.
