A reported accident involving one or two all-terrain vehicles injured at least one person this morning.
Oliver RCMP Sgt. Don Wrigglesworth said they received a call about three people, two males and one female, that were stuck on a local mountain (Kobau) overnight.
Wrigglesworth said one male reportedly injured his leg. He added that one quad vehicle broke an axle, while a second quad rolled.
Oliver Osoyoos Search and Rescue were deployed and were still on scene as of 2 p.m.
Emergency dispatch contacted the Oliver Fire Department, reporting a single vehicle (quad) rollover, adding that an airlift was being arranged. However, the department was subsequently called off.
