Osoyoos RCMP are seeking the public’s help in identifying suspects involved in break-ins at Osoyoos Dairy Queen and Campo Marina early Thursday morning.

Police suspect the two break-ins are related.

Around 5:15 a.m. on Nov. 12, video surveillance at Dairy Queen shows a brown pickup truck back up to the walk-in freezer. A male suspect then pried open the freezer door, stealing boxes of frozen food.

A smaller female was also noted on camera helping to load the food into the pickup truck, Osoyoos RCMP said.

Dairy Queen reports about a $3,000 loss with goods and damages.

The truck then apparently drove across the highway to Campo Marina, smashing the front door and triggering the alarm at 5:32 a.m.

RCMP said the suspects stole several bottles of liquor and departed in a grey or brown coloured pickup truck.

Anyone with information about these or other crimes is asked to call Osoyoos RCMP at 250-495-7236 or to remain anonymous call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS.
