Amore Pizza restaurant in downtown Oliver is seeking a development permit for a one-storey addition with a 20-seat outdoor patio.
This is the proposal being reviewed by Town council tonight at its regular meeting.
The restaurant at 6200 Main Street is adjacent to the former Mesa Hotel property.
Director of Development Services Randy Houle said the applicant wants to construct the 663 square foot addition to the restaurant with an outdoor patio and pergola.
Houle said vehicle access to the site will be from the rear lane behind the building.
Houle noted the design of the project meets the guidelines of the Official Community Plan, adding the proposal will be a welcome addition to the vacant site currently being utilized for parking.
