Firefighters, police and ambulance responded to a report of a pedestrian hit just south of Oliver this afternoon.
Upon arrival, firefighters observed a man sitting on the side of the road near the intersection of Highway 97 and Road 1. He was subsequently treated by ambulance paramedics.
The man’s injuries did not appear serious.
It was not immediately determined what caused the accident or who else was involved.
