The results of the 2022 municipal elections for Osoyoos have just been announced.

A total of 2,101 of the 4,769 eligible voters turned out to cast their ballots an increase of 986 votes over 2018 numbers, representing a voter turnout of 44 per cent up from 38.7 per cent in 2018 when 1,593 voted from an eligible 4,120 voters.
For the position of Mayor:
Sue McKortoff (incumbent) – 1109 votes (Mayor-Elect)
Dustin Sikora – 972 votes
For the position of Councilor (four positions):
Myers Bennett (incumbent) – 1196 votes (Councilor-Elect)
Johnny Cheong – 1554 votes (Councilor-Elect)
Wesley Greve – 1062 votes
Jim King (incumbent) – 1212 votes (Councilor-Elect)
Sy Murseli – 528 votes
Zach Poturica – 1510 votes (Councilor-Elect)
Water Councilors (two positions)
Robert Appleby – Acclaimed
Claude Moreira- Acclaimed
