The 11th annual Osoyoos Oyster Feed Dinner and Dance, organized by the Osoyoos Volunteer Fire Department, was another huge success this past Saturday evening as more than 450 people attended the event, which was again held at the Osoyoos International Curling Club. Proceeds will go to benefit the burn unit at Vancouver General Hospital and programs at Penticton Regional Hospital and the South Okanagan General Hospital in Oliver. The 27 members of the volunteer fire department had an extremely busy day preparing huge amounts of oysters and the buffet meal. Dozens of local and area businesses contributed to the silent auction.
