The Town of Osoyoos, in conjunction with the Interior Health Authority, says it has received satisfactory water quality test results for two areas that remained on water quality alert.
As such the Boil Water Notice issued August 6, 2022 for the Dividend Ridge and Golf Course areas has been rescinded, effective immediately.
These two areas were added after an earlier notice had been given for a wide swath of west Osoyoos on August 4. Those areas had their Boil Water Notices rescinded on August 6.
But as recently as Tuesday residents were posting photos of dark brown water purportedly coming from their taps.
The Times Chronicle has reached out to the Town’s Operational Services Department for comment but has not as yet received a reply.
