Dear Editor:

The recent Christmas pyjama drive held at Cactus Ridge Retirement Residence was a fantastic success.

We are proud to say our pyjama drive surpassed last year’s donations. Our grand total was 147 pairs of children’s pyjamas and two pairs of adults pyjamas, two teddies and one sweater being donated.

I would like to thank everybody who donated and drop off centres that also accepted pyjamas on Vancouver Island, the Valley First Credit Union in Oliver and the Osoyoos Seniors Centre.

I would also like to thank my good friend Marlene Lipps for all of her assistance.

I’m already looking forward to the third annual Christmas pyjama drive in Osoyoos.

The best of the season to everyone.

Thank you once again.

Connie Osachoff
