Sarah Saysomsack is a force to be reckoned with as the goalie on the field hockey team. She is small but mighty. Her involvement in athletics and her enthusiasm for sport continues in the spring season as she plays Ultimate Frisbee which is a spirited game.

Sarah has been involved in the school musical program for the past three years and her presence on the stage is a wonderful contribution to the school and the community.

She has been a member of the Hornet Homies and spoke at the grade-wide meeting for Grade 9’s to promote the Gardom Lake trip.

The Oliver Alliance Church is lucky to have her as a part of their family and Sarah is busy with volunteering in the community through her church.

She is such a hard worker in school despite her learning difficulties, she has a strong work ethic and a desire to do well. She is happy to work with her peers, even if she doesn’t know them very well.

She is kind and inclusive, and unafraid of asking questions or sharing her ideas. She’s a great kid and works so hard.

Olivia is extremely kindhearted and she is inclusive and supportive of others.  She leads with compassion and understanding.  She is smart, determined, driven and diligent.  She is involved in a great many activities, and yet, you may not have really noticed her.  She is a quiet, reserved, and conscientious student.

Olivia works super hard to earn top marks and fusses over her projects to make them just right but, she does not like to draw all the attention that can go along with being academically strong. If you know her, you know she kind of shrugs and gets a bit of pink in her cheeks when you compliment her achievements.

Academically, Olivia always strives to understand and communicate her understanding in creative and critical ways. Olivia has a passion for learning about new and unique topics and in this way, she demonstrates a love of learning that goes beyond the curriculum and the walls of school.

Olivia’s passion is an inspiration to other students and her willingness to share her ideas in class helped to promote thinking and learning for the class as a whole.

Olivia is a vibrant Grade 10 student who shines on the field as a dedicated member of the SOSS Sr. Ultimate Frisbee team. Over the past two years, Olivia has not only showcased her exceptional skills but has also uplifted team spirit with her infectious positivity and unwavering commitment.

Her contributions go beyond the game, as she fosters camaraderie and sportsmanship among teammates. With her ever-present smile and can-do attitude, Olivia exemplifies the true essence of sport, embodying teamwork, perseverance, and joy. She is a cornerstone of the team, inspiring others both on and off the field.
