Oliver RCMP and firefighters responded to call involving a transport truck and a light standard at Enterprise Way on Highway 97 on Wednesday afternoon.
The call came in as a semi truck that had struck a power pole, but it was actually a metal light post that was sheared off from the traffic island at Enterprise Way.
It was reported that the truck may have blown a tire, which caused the mishap. However, it wasn’t confirmed by press time.
The driver was not hurt in the incident.
