Four Oliver men face serious charges stemming from an alleged assault and attempted abduction on July 2.
Oliver RCMP were dispatched to South Okanagan General Hospital in response to a report of an assault with a weapon and attempted abduction of a 31-year-old Oliver resident.
An investigation resulted in the arrest of four adult males.
“The offence appears to be targeted and risk to the public should be considered as low,” said Sgt. Ken Harrington.
All four males were released on restrictive conditions and are due to appear in provincial court in Penticton on July 30 to answer to charges of assault with a weapon, kidnapping, and mischief under $5,000.
