The 2025 summer concert series kicks off on June 27 with the ever-popular “Eagle Eyes – Tribute to the Eagles” with a diverse lineup of free, family friendly live music taking place every Friday evening from 6:30 – 8:30 p.m. until August 29 at the picturesque Gyro Park on the shores of Osoyoos Lake.
The event has a new website with news, interactive event listings, audience polls and more. Carried over from the previous website are the “Photo Gallery” and “Experience” sections which contains photos of the various events and public piano as well as information about seating etc.
The new website includes:
- News – last minute change of venue due to weather, introducing bands and sponsors and other info we want to share with audience and fans;
- Interactive Event Listings – opens a map for directions and provides more info on the band;
- Performers’ Bios – that display band promo videos
- “Phil” The Tip Jar – an easy way for our audience and fans to show support for the summer concert series (funds are only used to cover costs of bands and sound tech), and just in case you’re wondering “Phil” is the name of the water jug that appears on stage at every concert for collecting tips;
- Polls – so we can get to know our audience better;
- Guestbook – let us know what you think of the shows;
- Mailing List Signup – join the mailing list to get news fast! If there is a last-minute change of location due to inclement weather, you’ll receive the announcement in your email box.
A new Sponsorship Opportunities Package is also available for small to large business owners/managers with new benefits as well as flexible combination options to support this popular community event.
And coming soon will be content filmed at the concerts and posted to the Music in the Park’s Youtube channel.
