The Okanagan Motorcycle Riders Association (OMRA) is raffling a chance to win a motorcycle to raise funds for the OSNS Child and Youth Development Centre.
The bike, a 2015 1700cc Yamaha Road Star Silverado, was shown Tuesday at the Osoyoos Credit Union, where raffle tickets are being sold, said Denice Brachmann, a volunteer liaison between the motorcycle club and OSNS.
The draw date for the bike is June 28 and tickets sell for $20 for one or three for $50. The draw takes place at Gyro Park in Penticton and the number of tickets is limited to 4,000 printed.
The OMRA is a registered non-profit society and Brachmann said it has about 80 members. In addition to supporting the OSNS Child and Youth Development Centre, the OMRA also supports other local non-profit organizations and charities.
