A wine and fashion pairing show, inspiring dancers, a worthy cause, and Steven Page from Barenaked Ladies – what’s not to like?

That’s part of what’s going on at Black Hills Estate Winery on Saturday, June 20 when it celebrates its 15th vintage of Nota Bene.

The annual party from 5-8 p.m. will be the place to be as the winery prepares a unique show for wine and fashion lovers, and those who appreciate the arts and music.

Black Hills GM of Hospitality Pauline Gagnon said the winery is giving local fashion designer Kerri Younie a bucket of wine that she will use to dye all of her designs. A few of the pieces will go on auction for this year’s charity – breast cancer research.

The evening’s entertainment includes Steven Page, co-founder of the Barenaked Ladies, LUKI Dance troupe (contortionists), and DJ Captain K Belgium.

Erin Cebula from ET Canada and Global TV will be the Emcee, and Joy Road Catering will provide all of the cuisine.

Cannery Brewing will provide a “palette cleansing station,” Gagnon said.

And Hollywood actor Jason Priestley will also be there. (He is part owner of Black Hills.)

Gagnon said the event brings more than 300 people to the valley, and Black Hills is working closely with the three resorts in Osoyoos to offer special rates for accommodation.

As of Monday morning, a few tickets were still available for this Saturday’s event.

Tickets to the event are $159 per person and are available by calling Black Hills at 250-498-0666 or email [email protected].
