JF Kustoms’ award-winning 1964 Buick Riviera “Rivision” was one of a select 100 speciality cars invited to the 31st Annual Rodeo Drive Concours d’Elegance in Beverly Hills on Father’s Day, Sunday, June 21.
The Rodeo Drive Concours d’Elegance featured approximately 100 hand-selected exotic cars, classic masterpieces, and million-dollar showpieces lining the iconic street in an invite-only format judged by a panel of experts.
JF Launier received a crystal award for Best Kustom, presented by legendary custom car builder John D’Agostino – one of Launier’s longtime mentors and inspirations from the early days of his career.
D’Agostino had presented him with his very first award years ago with Launier speaking fondly of the honour and the deep respect he has for his mentor.

“Father’s Day was truly an amazing day,” said Teresa Launier. “Beverly Hills was incredibly welcoming and embraced the Canadian eye candy we brought to display.” JF Kustoms has been creating automotive rolling works of art for more than 25 years in Osoyoos.
The Launiers took full advantage of the Hollywood trip to promote their popular YouTube channel, “Killer Kustoms,” filming content with LA Autotopia, visiting with Jay Leno, and attending the LA Roadster Show.
“Jay Leno was delighted to have the Riviera there and stopped to make sure he found the Beach Boys album on his phone to show JF how much he loves Rivieras!,” noted Teresa.
The events were “overwhelmingly busy,” with the couple saying they were “thrilled to participate in such prestigious gatherings.”
JF shared that “the organizers told us this was their best event ever, and it wasn’t hard to imagine with a few hundred multimillion dollar cars. It was sleek and exciting and a once in a lifetime opportunity!”

The Riviera will return home to its dedicated space in the newly founded Desert Speed Heritage Museum at 28 Empire Street in Osoyoos. The museum, operating alongside JF Kustoms, celebrates active automotive heritage with drivable vehicles and exhibits.
“If you haven’t seen the car in person and you’re planning a visit to Osoyoos, this is the perfect reason to stop by,” said Teresa who added the duo are often at the museum and available for “photos and handshakes,” with visitors.
