Hornets win first game of tournament

The senior boys Hornets from SOSS are off to a good start today by winning their first game in this weekend’s basketball tournament at home.

The Hornets, coached by Ryan Baptiste, faced the Summerland Rockets this morning. Both teams took turns taking the lead, but too many 4th quarter mistakes by the Rockets let the Hornets capitalize on them.

The Hornets won the game 71-66, with a strong showing by Harshveer Sran, Brett Rollison and Dilshan Gill.
