Tumbleweed Distillery is one step closer to opening a lounge space at their Lakeshore Drive facility after town council voted unanimously to opt out of leading a public consultation process at their Dec. 2 regular meeting.
The proposed tasting room and small lounge would host 30 patrons and serve the distillery’s products.
The application will now require approval from the provincial liquor regulation branch.
