Homeowner thankful to Mayor and town staff for assistance during difficult time

Dear Editor:

I would sincerely like to thank Town of Osoyoos Mayor Sue McKortoff and the town staff for organizing the volunteers who helped me place sandbags on my property next to Legion Beach recently.

I would also like to thank the driver of the truck and the men who unloaded all of those sandbags.

There were also four young students from Osoyoos Secondary School who volunteered their time to come and put the sandbags in place.

Thank you again to everyone who helped.
