Dear Editor:
This is an open letter to the Honourable Chris Alexander, the federal Minister for Immigration and Citizenship in Canada.
The recent announcement that Canada will accept 13,000 immigrants from Syria and Iraq is very disturbing.
The free world is at war and under attack from extremist Muslims, but we appear to be sleeping.
Under normal circumstances, the acceptance of refugees into Canada is a compassionate act we should all be proud of.
Unfortunately, the Muslim extremists have changed this and the so-called moderate Muslims are unable or unwilling to confront them effectively.
The moderate Muslims must denounce their extremists all day, every day and they must do it publicly and very loudly before I accept their belief in democracy and free speech.
I know Canada will attempt to screen these immigrants, but the reality is we do not have the resources to detect the enemy in this flood of humanity.
You and I know the enemy is overjoyed at this opportunity to place their operatives in our midst. Please stop all the immigration from Muslim-dominated countries until these attacks are under control.
We must never underestimate the enemy. They are effectively using our democratic principals and free speech against us.
As the Minister of Citizenship and Immigration, you must spend a great deal of your time thinking about this very serious issue. Time for thinking is always a good thing, but the time for action is now.
I spent 26 years serving as an RCMP officer and had the opportunity to serve all over Canada, from the high Arctic and on both coasts from east to west.
I am proud of the principals of this great country. Muslim no-go zones for police and Sharia law are not on my agenda.
Please keep us strong.
Thank you for listening.
