Children will have a chance to skate at the Sun Bowl Arena and visit Santa Claus in a town-sponsored, free event this Saturday.
Once again, the Town of Osoyoos is hosting Rockin’ with Santa from 2 to 4 p.m.
The event includes games, crafts and turkey raffles and is billed as “Christmas fun for all ages.”
Tamara Morgan, community programmer with the Town of Osoyoos, said Santa and Mrs. Claus will be there to meet children.
The Osoyoos Royalty girls will be helping children with crafts.
Hockey sticks are not permitted during the family skate.
Morgan said there would be prize draws throughout as well as games on the ice.
There will be two turkey draws, with one turkey each donated by Buy-Low Foods and AG Foods.
