Police and fire officials are investigating an early morning blaze that destroyed a trailer on Road 6 just off Highway 97 on Friday.
Oliver Fire Department spokesman Rob Graham said a trailer was fully engulfed by flames when 12 members arrived on scene at 1:10 am January 3. He noted it was the same location of a previous fire (in April) that decimated a trailer on the Road 6 property.
Graham said they were told on Friday that someone was living in the trailer.
“We had to put the fire out before we could search the trailer, but we did not find anyone.”
Graham said it took about an hour to extinguish the flames, and most of the time after that was spent searching the interior.
No cause has been determined yet.
