The Oliver Fire Department was called to a brush fire late Monday afternoon at 101 Horsetail Road (off River Road).
When an officer arrived, he found a large pile of brush on fire in a field near a residence. It was not determined how the fire started. It appeared someone was burning a pile of tree limbs. The blaze was contained to the pile and did not spread.
No further information was available at press time.
