On December 5 the Oliver RCMP detachment received a series of complaints of thefts from vehicles that had occurred overnight in the areas of Morningstar Road, Rockcliffe Road and Fairview Road.
All of the scenarios were the same in that the vehicles were unlocked and property of value was left inside.
Sergeant Ken Harrington urges people to secure their vehicles and avoid leaving valuables inside when the vehicles are left unattended.
