The Chronicle editor walked into Quail’s Nest Arts Centre today (Wednesday) and said, “I’m looking for some broads.”
Three or four ladies who were gathered around a table immediately laughed, and told the fellow that he came to the right place.
The Fibre Broads and Friends show and sale is 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. daily until this Saturday.
The show features knitted, felted, and woven items for the home, and some wearables such as slippers. There is also jewelry and artwork.
Stop by and watch some studio demonstrations by local artists.
