Oliver RCMP were called to a two-vehicle collision on Highway 97 at Gallagher Lake just north of Oliver last week.
The three occupants of both vehicles suffered serious, but non life-threatening injuries and were transported to hospital.
While at the accident scene, officers were advised of a second motor vehicle collision near the same location involving two other vehicles. The occupants did not suffer any injuries in the second collision.
Traffic was backed up for several kilometres in both directions.
The cause was not reported by police.
